Morning: pick-up in Hanoi and drive to Halong Bay on the expressway (about 2.5 hours, with a rest stop).

Wear shoes with grip – cave floors can be wet and slippery.
From June to September, storms can close the bay at short notice; if boats are stopped, we change the date or suggest a day in Ninh Binh instead.

Morning

Pick-up at your hotel in central Hanoi around 7:30–8:00 by private air-conditioned car (or the group-tour bus).
Drive about 2.5 hours on the Hanoi – Ha Long expressway, with a short rest stop.
