2 days 1 night (Halong Bay Muslim tour 2 days 1 night)

• Day 1 – Tuan Chau to Lan Ha Bay: board at Tuan Chau around 12:00, halal lunch while cruising, kayaking or swimming at Tra Bau, spring roll cooking demonstration at sunset, halal dinner, squid fishing.
• Day 2 – Cat Ba and back: Tai Chi at 6:00, breakfast, Trung Trang Cave on Cat Ba Island by tender boat, halal brunch, disembark at Tuan Chau around 10:30–11:00 and back in Hanoi in the afternoon.

3 days 2 nights (halal cruise with Viet Hai Village)

• Day 1: as the 2-day programme.
• Day 2 – Viet Hai Village: day boat deeper into Lan Ha Bay, cycling or e-cart to Viet Hai Village inside Cat Ba National Park, lunch on the day boat, kayaking or swimming in a quiet lagoon, sunset and halal dinner on board.
• Day 3: Tai Chi, breakfast, Trung Trang Cave, brunch and return to Tuan Chau before noon.

Halal Food and Muslim Travel Notes

• Halal kitchen: Mon Cheri Cruises has served halal meals since 2018 and was the first halal-certified cruise in Halong Bay. The latest Halal Vietnam certificate (HVN2024-171) ran to 25 September 2026 and the renewal is being confirmed; we send you the current certificate before you pay.
• What is served: Vietnamese and international dishes and fresh seafood, prepared halal. Vegetarian meals are available if you ask when booking; dietary needs must reach the ship 48 hours before check-in.
• Alcohol: drinks are not included and are bought separately at the Sky Bar; soft drinks, juice and tea are available.
• Mosque and prayer: Al-Noor Mosque on Hang Luoc Street in Hanoi is the only mosque in northern Vietnam, so there is no mosque in Halong Bay or Lan Ha Bay; many guests visit Al-Noor Mosque before or after the cruise. Prayer times are not fixed in the cruise programme, and you can pray in your cabin.

Two days and one night is enough to see Lan Ha Bay, kayak at Tra Bau and visit Trung Trang Cave; you spend about 23 hours on board. The 3 days 2 nights programme adds a full day to Viet Hai Village and a quiet lagoon, and suits travellers who want to rest rather than rush back to Hanoi.
