- Sapa: lunches are at Muslim-run halal restaurants in Sapa town – see halal restaurants in Sapa.
- Train and Lao Cai: food on the train and in Lao Cai is not halal. Dinners on days 3 and 4 are not included; we suggest halal restaurants in Sapa or a packed halal meal before the train.
- Halong Bay cruise: This tour uses Mon Cheri Cruises, whose kitchen is certified by Halal Vietnam (HVN2024-171) – every meal on board is halal. Mon Chéri halal cruise.

- Dress code: cover shoulders and knees at temples and at the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum.
Who This Tour Suits – and Who Should Choose Another
- Good for: travelers with a full week who want the classic northern Vietnam route with halal meals and a private guide.
- Choose another tour if you prefer not to travel by night train – the Hanoi Muslim Tour 5 Days covers Hanoi, Ninh Binh and Halong Bay without Sapa – or if you also want southern Vietnam, see the Hanoi – Ho Chi Minh Muslim Tour 7 Days.
- Keep in mind: two nights are on the train, and day 5 starts early after the train arrives in Hanoi.
Is 7 Days Enough for Northern Vietnam?
Seven days is enough for the four classic places – Hanoi, Ninh Binh, Sapa and Halong Bay – thanks to the night trains. With 8–9 days you can travel to Sapa by car in daylight, add Mua Cave and Trang An, or spend two nights on the bay.
Customize Your Hanoi Muslim Tour 7 Days
- Book a private 2-berth train cabin, or go to Sapa by private car (5–6 hours each way).
- Upgrade the night on the bay to the halal-kitchen Mon Chéri cruise in Lan Ha Bay.
- Swap Tam Coc for Trang An or add the Mua Cave viewpoint.
- Upgrade hotels in Hanoi and Sapa to 4-star or 5-star.

Local Expert Notes
By Jimmy, Hanoi Muslim Tours
- Choose a morning arrival flight so day 1 covers the full city tour.
- The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum opens in the morning only and is closed on Mondays and Fridays, and for restoration each year – in 2026 from 4 September to 2 November. When it is closed, we visit Ba Dinh Square and the One Pillar Pagoda instead.
- Night trains have air-conditioned 4-berth soft sleepers; book the whole cabin for privacy.
- In Sapa, September is rice-harvest season; December–February can be near 0°C, especially on Fansipan.
- From June to September, storms can stop boats in Halong Bay at short notice; if that happens, we swap the order of days or offer Trang An instead.

FAQs
1. What does the Hanoi Muslim Tour 7 Days include?
A private guide and car on land, airport transfers, 2 nights in Hanoi, the night train to Lao Cai and back, 1 night in Sapa, 1 night on Mon Cheri Cruises (Lan Ha Bay, Halong), 6 breakfasts, 6 lunches and 3 dinners, the Tam Coc boat, Fansipan cable car and entrance fees.
2. How much does the Hanoi Muslim tour 7 days cost?
From USD 566 per person, based on a 3-star hotel, twin-share. The final price depends on group size, hotels, train cabin and cruise class. Send us your dates for an exact quote, usually within 24 hours.
3. What is the best 7-day itinerary for Hanoi, Sapa and Halong Bay?
One day in Hanoi, one in Ninh Binh, two in Sapa with night trains, and one night on Halong Bay – as in this tour. Travelling by night train saves two daytime travel days.
4. Is the food halal on this tour?
Lunches and dinners on land are at halal restaurants in Hanoi, Ninh Binh and Sapa. Food on the train and in Lao Cai is not halal, and the shared cruise serves halal-certified meals (Halal Vietnam HVN2024-171). For halal meals on board, upgrade to the Mon Chéri halal cruise.
5. Can we go to Sapa by car instead of the night train?
Yes. A private car takes about 5–6 hours each way on the expressway; because you travel in daylight, we usually add one day to the trip.
6. Is there halal food in Sapa?
Yes. Several Muslim-run halal restaurants are on Thac Bac Street in Sapa town. See halal restaurants in Sapa.
7. Can I visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum on this tour?
Yes, when it is open: mornings only, closed on Mondays and Fridays and for annual restoration (4 September – 2 November 2026). If it is closed, we visit Ba Dinh Square and the One Pillar Pagoda instead.
8. Is this tour suitable for children and older travelers?
Yes, with a reasonable level of walking in Sapa. Children under 6 sharing a room with parents travel free; see the Price tab. Older travelers may prefer a private car to Sapa instead of the train.
9. How do I book the Hanoi Muslim Tour 7 Days?
Send your travel dates and group size through the Tour Inquiry form or WhatsApp. We usually reply within 24 hours; see our deposit and payment policy.
