Halong Bay or Lan Ha Bay: which route?
Catherine Cruise follows the classic Halong Bay route to Sung Sot Cave and Ti Top Island – the best choice on a first visit. Mon Cheri, Lyra Grandeur and Diana spend most of the trip in Lan Ha Bay, south of Halong Bay, where there are fewer boats, quiet lagoons and better kayaking.
Halal food and Muslim travel notes
On these cruises every meal on board – lunch, dinner, breakfast and brunch – is prepared halal, and vegetarian meals are available on request; tell us about dietary needs at least 48 hours before boarding. Drinks are not included and alcohol is sold separately at the bars.
