Halal food and Muslim travel notes
Lunch on these day trips is halal and reserved before you travel. The one exception is some shared Halong Bay day boats, where certified halal food is not available; when that applies, the tour page says so clearly. Is lunch halal on every day trip?
Yes, lunch is halal and booked in advance. The only exception is some shared Halong Bay day boats without certified halal food – each tour page states clearly what is arranged on board.
Where and when do the day trips start?
Your guide picks you up at your hotel in Hanoi, usually between 07:30 and 08:30 depending on the route. Halong Bay days start earliest because of the drive to the coast.
How are the prices calculated?
Prices are per person and decrease as your group gets bigger; each tour page shows the full table by group size, and children pay reduced rates depending on their age.
Which day trip should I choose if I only have one day?
