  • Dress code: cover shoulders and knees at temples and at the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum.

Who This Tour Suits – and Who Should Choose Another

  • Good for: active travelers and families with older children who want Sapa and Halong Bay in less than a week.
  • Choose another tour if you also want Ninh Binh – the Hanoi Muslim Tour 7 Days adds Hoa Lu and Tam Coc – or if you prefer not to travel by train, take the Hanoi Muslim Tour 5 Days without Sapa.
  • Keep in mind: two nights are on the sleeper train, and day 4 starts early after the train arrives in Hanoi.

Is 6 Days Enough for Hanoi, Sapa and Halong Bay?

Yes, if you are happy to use the night train: it saves two travel days. If you would rather travel by day, we can drive you to Sapa by private car on the expressway (5–6 hours each way), which adds about one day to the trip.

Customize Your Hanoi Muslim Tour 6 Days

  • Book a private 2-berth train cabin, or travel to Sapa by private car (5–6 hours each way) instead of the train.
  • Upgrade the night on the bay to the halal-kitchen Mon Chéri cruise in Lan Ha Bay.
  • Add a day in Ninh Binh: Hoa Lu and Tam Coc.
  • Upgrade hotels in Hanoi and Sapa to 4-star or 5-star.

Local Expert Notes

By Jimmy, Hanoi Muslim Tours

  • Choose a morning arrival flight so day 1 covers the full city tour.
  • Night trains to Lao Cai have air-conditioned 4-berth soft sleepers; bring a light jacket and slippers. For privacy, book the whole cabin.
  • In Sapa, September is rice-harvest season; December–February can be near 0°C, especially on Fansipan.
  • From June to September, storms can close Halong Bay at short notice; if that happens, we suggest another day or an alternative such as Ninh Binh.

FAQs
1. What does the Hanoi Muslim Tour 6 Days include?

A private guide and car on land, airport transfers, the night train to Lao Cai and back, 1 night in Sapa, 1 night on Mon Cheri Cruises (Lan Ha Bay, Halong), 1 night in Hanoi, 5 breakfasts, 5 lunches and 2 dinners, the Fansipan cable car and entrance fees.

2. How much does the Hanoi Muslim tour 6 days cost?

From USD 473 per person, based on a 3-star hotel, twin-share. The final price depends on group size, hotels, train cabin and cruise class. Send us your dates for an exact quote, usually within 24 hours.

3. Is the food halal on this tour?

Lunches and dinners in Hanoi and Sapa are at halal restaurants. Food on the train and in Lao Cai is not halal, and the shared Halong Bay cruise serves halal-certified meals (Halal Vietnam HVN2024-171). For halal meals on board, upgrade to the Mon Chéri halal cruise.

4. Is the night train comfortable?

The train has air-conditioned 4-berth soft-sleeper cabins with bedding. You may share with other travelers; a private 2-berth cabin, or the whole 4-berth cabin, can be booked on request.

5. Can we go to Sapa by car instead of the train?

Yes. A private car takes about 5–6 hours each way on the expressway. Because you then travel by day, we usually add one day to the itinerary.

6. Is there halal food in Sapa?

Yes. Several Muslim-run halal restaurants are on Thac Bac Street in Sapa town. See halal restaurants in Sapa.

7. Can I visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum on this tour?

Yes, when it is open: mornings only, closed on Mondays and Fridays and for annual restoration (4 September – 2 November 2026). If it is closed, we visit Ba Dinh Square and the One Pillar Pagoda instead.

8. Is this tour suitable for children?

Yes for children who can walk a few kilometres; the night train is often a highlight for them. Children under 6 sharing a room with parents travel free; see the Price tab.

9. How do I book the Hanoi Muslim Tour 6 Days?

Send your travel dates and group size through the Tour Inquiry form or WhatsApp. We usually reply within 24 hours; see our deposit and payment policy.
