Hotel Overview
Sapa House Hotel is a 3-star hotel in central Sapa whose kitchen and food are halal certified by Vietnam National Halal (VNH) under the JAKIM Certificate Scheme (Cert ID VNH-JAKIM.07, valid until 2 January 2027). It stands at 03A Thac Bac Street, about 250 m from Sapa Church and Sapa Market and a short walk from Sun Plaza and the Fansipan Legend tram, with two HVN-certified halal restaurants on the same street. Every rate includes a halal breakfast, and rooms start from US$42 per room per night for two guests when you book with Hanoi Muslim Tours.
Sapa House Hotel: 3-Star Hotel with a Halal-Certified Kitchen in the Heart of Sapa
Finding a halal hotel in Sapa is harder than finding halal food. Sapa now has several certified halal restaurants, but hotels with their own certified halal kitchen are rare. During our October 2026 check of hotels in Sapa, Sapa House Hotel was the only one we found holding a current halal certificate for its kitchen and food. That is why it is the first hotel we recommend to Muslim travellers who want a halal breakfast inside the hotel, a central address and fair prices.

What Makes Sapa House Hotel Different for Muslim Travellers
A certified halal kitchen inside the hotel
Most “Muslim-friendly hotels in Sapa” simply sit near a halal restaurant. Sapa House Hotel goes further: its own kitchen and the dishes it serves are certified halal by VNH, one of the Vietnamese certification bodies recognised by JAKIM, Malaysia’s halal authority. Breakfast in the hotel is therefore halal without you having to walk out in the cold Sapa morning.
Halal restaurants on the same street
Thac Bac Street has become Sapa’s small halal corner. Sapa Halal Restaurant (10B Thac Bac) and Sapa Pak Tam Asian Halal (025 Thac Bac) both hold Halal Vietnam (HVN) certificates, so lunch and dinner are a short walk away. Our full list is in Halal Restaurants in Sapa.
A central address that saves time
The hotel is on a side street, yet Sapa Church and Sapa Market are about 250 m away, and Sun Plaza with the Fansipan Legend tram towards the Fansipan cable car is a short walk. Guests often praise the location; one Malaysian guest highlighted how close it is to the Fansipan station.
Rooms with mountain views and warm interiors
Rooms are decorated with dark wood, bright walls and textiles with Sapa ethnic patterns. The best rooms face the Hoang Lien Son mountains, and the Junior Suites add an electric fireplace, welcome on Sapa nights from December to February, when temperatures can fall close to freezing.

Halal Food and Certificate at Sapa House Hotel
The certificate on display at reception confirms that the dishes served at Sapa House Hotel were assessed at its address and comply with Sharia principles and the MS 1500:2019 standard, and are suitable for Muslims. Its scope is the Halal Kitchen and Halal Food.
| Certificate holder | Sapa House Hotel, 03A Thac Bac Street, Sa Pa, Lao Cai |
|---|---|
| Certification body | Vietnam National Halal (VNH), JAKIM Certificate Scheme |
| Scope | 1. Halal Kitchen 2. Halal Food |
| Standard | MS 1500:2019 – Halal Food – General Requirements |
| Cert ID | VNH-JAKIM.07 |
| Valid | 3 January 2026 to 2 January 2027 |

What the certificate does and does not cover. It applies to the hotel’s own kitchen and dishes only, not to other restaurants in Sapa. Booking sites also list a small bar or lounge at the hotel. If an alcohol-free environment is important to you, tell us when you enquire and we confirm with the hotel before you book. There is no mosque in Sapa; the only mosque in northern Vietnam is Al-Noor Mosque in Hanoi.

Local Expert Notes from Our Hanoi Team
- Book Friday and Saturday nights early. Weekend rates are higher and the hotel is often full from October to December and during Vietnamese holidays.
- Ask for a mountain-view room. It costs about US$4–8 more per night than a city view, and on a clear morning it is worth it.
- Pack warm clothes from November to March. Sapa is much colder than Hanoi, especially at night.
- Plan Fansipan on your clearest day. The tram to the cable car is a short walk from the hotel, so you can go when the weather opens up.
- Tet and public holidays have separate rates; we quote them on request.
Sapa House Hotel Price 2026
Rates start from US$42 per room per night for a Deluxe Double Room (city view) from Sunday to Thursday, with a halal breakfast for two included. Friday and Saturday nights cost a little more. See every room and rate in Room Category, then send us your dates in the Hotel Inquiry form.
